Heat reflective glass:

Characteristics: Heat reflective glass is generally coated with one or more layers of thin films composed of metals or their compounds such as chromium, titanium, or stainless steel on the surface of the glass, giving the product a rich color. This type of glass has appropriate transmittance for visible light, high reflectivity for infrared radiation, and high absorption for ultraviolet radiation, hence it is also known as sunlight controlled glass.

Application: Mainly used in buildings and glass curtain walls, it can effectively control solar radiation, reduce indoor temperature, and save air conditioning costs.

Low-E glass:

Characteristics: Low emissivity glass is coated with a thin film system composed of multiple layers of metals such as silver, copper, tin, or their compounds on the glass surface. The product has high transmittance to visible light and high reflectivity to infrared radiation, and has good thermal insulation performance.

Application: Mainly used in construction, automobiles, ships and other transportation vehicles. Due to the poor strength of the membrane layer, it is generally made into insulating glass for use. Low radiation glass can significantly reduce the energy consumption of air conditioning and heating, and improve the comfort of living and working.

Conductive film glass:

Characteristics: Conductive film glass is made by coating a conductive thin film such as indium tin oxide on the surface of the glass, which can generate heat when energized.

Application: It can be used for windows and doors in airplanes, cars, low-temperature experimental equipment, etc., to prevent water vapor from freezing and obstructing the line of sight, and to heat, defrost, and defog glass. In addition, it can also be used as an electrode for transparent glass in electronic technology devices such as liquid crystal displays, plasma displays, and silicon solar cells.

Production Method of Reflective Glass  

The production methods of coated glass mainly include vacuum magnetron sputtering, vacuum evaporation, chemical vapor deposition and sol gel method. Among them, vacuum magnetron sputtering and chemical vapor deposition are commonly used production methods.

Vacuum magnetron sputtering method: Using magnetron sputtering technology, multi-layer complex film systems can be designed and manufactured, which has the advantages of good corrosion resistance and wear resistance. It is currently one of the most widely used methods in production and use.

Chemical vapor deposition method: A reaction gas is introduced into the float glass production line to decompose on the scorching glass surface, uniformly depositing on the glass surface to form coated glass. This method has low equipment investment, easy regulation, low product cost, good chemical stability, and can be used for thermal processing. It is currently one of the promising production methods.
