The Production Process of Tempered Glass   

Physical tempering method: also known as quenching tempering method. This method is to heat ordinary flat glass in a heating furnace to a temperature close to the softening temperature of the glass (about 600 ℃), and then eliminate internal stress through its own deformation. Subsequently, the glass is removed from the heating furnace and high-pressure cold air is blown onto both sides of the glass using a multi head nozzle, rapidly and uniformly cooling it to room temperature, thereby forming compressive stress on the surface of the glass and tensile stress inside, completing the tempering process.

Flat tempered glass: The most common type of tempered glass, widely used in fields such as construction, automotive, furniture, etc.

Bent tempered glass: The glass is bent into the desired shape under heating and then tempered, suitable for curved structures such as curved windows and curtain walls.

Semi tempered glass: The compressive stress generated on the surface of the glass is relatively low, and its strength and impact resistance are relatively low compared to fully tempered glass. However, the fragments produced after breakage are relatively large and not easy to splash and injure people.

Hot bending glass: The heating and cooling processes are relatively slow, resulting in balanced stress. Its strength and impact resistance are between ordinary glass and fully tempered glass.

Explosion proof tempered glass: specially designed to withstand higher stress in the event of an explosion or impact, commonly used in buildings and facilities that require additional safety and protection.
